Couple of errors trying to send mail

I have two lists of customers, one is about 3000 people the other is 500. Maxbulkmailer was working fine until late last year...

Now I'm getting...

220 ESMTP Mon, 14 Apr 2008 16:52:58 -0400: UCE strictly prohibited
[01] 4/14 16:53:09 > HELO
[01] 4/14 16:53:09 250 bosauthsmtp15.eigbox.net Hello [97.89.117.73]

Any suggestions?

You just need to authenticate. It is explained here: Relaying denied / Delivery not allowed error (SMTP error 550).

Where are these setting changes to be applied.

would this be on the server or client machine that these setting need to be changed.

Nb: The sender in past had no difficulty sending mail to the recipient. It just started a few days ago.

The error message received is as follows:

Error transferring to "domain name"; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 550 bosauthsmtp15: Host xxx.xxx.xx.xx: No unauthenticated relaying permitted
