|

Hi All - first time caller.
Just bought the program today and it's looking good except for one problem. When sending I am able to log on to my server but it tells me how much mail I have in my email mailbox and logs off? Totally confused?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Here's the message from the Delivery report:

| Try to use the ESMTP authentication rather than POP. It is explained here: POP and ESMTP authentications |

Thanks!
I've tried your suggestion with two different mail servers and both are timing out and not connecting?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks again,
Jeff |

| By the way, why are you using port 995 with 'smtphm.sympatico.ca'? It works just fine for me here on port 25. |

995 was the info I got from the bell support site. I did change it 25 and still the same problem. This is getting very frustrating, I bought this software instead of going with a marketing company hoping I could send out my own newsletters but I'm not having too much success.
I am only trying to send out to 5 email addresses as a test.
I have a html only letter.
All other settings seem to appear okay.
Is there something I am missing? Any other reason why this would not work?
Thanks
Jeff |
