Hello,

Just bought the email verifier (version 3.1-us (12)) and am running on windows xp version 2002 SP 2.

I'm sure this is a simple problem but can't figure it out. I ran it overnight on about 1700 emails and it verified only the aol.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc. emails...none of the others.

What am I doing wrong?
Crying or Very sad
Thank you.

I found the telnet instructions to test port 25 and it seems it is blocked. Are there any options to test our emails using a different port or circumvent our ISP's blocking of port 25?

SMTP uses port 25. If that port is blocked eMail Verifier will never work. There is no alternative port.

Our ISP assures me that port 25 isn't blocked but I'm still unable to get software to validate any addresses.

Anybody have any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

Is there any way to determine if port 25 is blocked without asking my ISP? Thank you very much.
