I use eMail Bounce Hanlder to help me with bounced emails. I run the list of "hard bounces" from Bounce Handler through eMail Verifier. Verifier finds labels many of these addresses as "good."

Any ideas why I get these conflicting results?

Yes. There are servers that won't collaborate and will respond OK to everything you ask. They represent 20% of the servers. It is explained here: eMail Verifier gives good e-mail addresses as bad

Thanks for the info.

It would be nice if these "unconfirmable" addresses were labelled as such and not as "valid."

There is no way to find out whether a server is saying OK because it really is. All you can do is adding that server to the rule editor.
