Hi - i'm just checking out this software- the background information looks great. However, practically speaking I don't seem to be able to get it to work

I have about 4 different banks with multiple bank accounts (ie savings and checking) per account. With MS money i used to import a QIF file and it would list the bank transactions without me having to do this manually - and more importantly it would input my account balances for each file.

This icash doesn't seem to do this?
I imported a QIF file (from April - July 07 transactions) the closing balance was wrong, also the details of transactions during that time were also not there? I was unable to edit the transactions.

Am I using this software correctly.

All I wanted is for my balances for each respective account to be represented on a single platform so I can keep track of things?

Sorry, i'm not an accountant so I don't know much about this stuff. I guess for the moment it;s back to manual entries on excel

Any help would be great.

Also I'm using a trial version -is this software shareware? Ie do i need to purchase at a later date?

Cheers
Bishan

Are you using very last 3.3.4? We made several improvements regarding QIF in that version. iCash is a commercial application.
