hi there

we have finally got our script working and can now unsubscribe from the link a the bottom of the HTML email we are sending out

So how do we now batch delete/unsubscribe from our main database in maxbulk mailer?

Can maxbulk recognise the .dat file on our webspace automatically?

Your help is much needed

Thanks

Paul

To remove several addresses from a list at once create a plain text file named 'DELETE', add all the addresses to remove to it, save it and drop it onto the list to process inside MaxBulk Mailer.

To unsubscribe several addresses from a list at once create a plain text file named 'UNSUBSCRIBE', add all the addresses to unsubscribe to it, save it and drop it onto the list to process inside MaxBulk Mailer.

Thats the way we were doing it originally.

So just to clarify are you saying maxbulk cannot recognise the .dat file?

Just not really sure why we would benefit from the script if that is the case!

Is there a way of turning the dat file into a file that maxbulk will pick up straight away?
Need to ask these questions before i buy the script thats all.

Thank you

Yes, just rename it 'DELETE.txt' or when you are browsing the list save the page and name the file 'DELETE.txt'. You can also edit the script and rename the dat file to 'DELETE.txt'.
