I understand how to put the plain text tags into the message body and how it will show up when also using HTML if the email client isn't HTML capable - but how do I put a tag into the HTML portion of the message so that variable data will be read from the data file and show up in HTML capable clients?

For instance: Dear [FullName]

I'm sorry if this post is redundant, I have searched and not been able to find a similar post but I'm sure one is there on this one.

TIA

You can do that. Tags are supported both in text and HTML. No differences.
