Yahoo's temporary "Resource not available" error & "deferred" errors are counted as "Soft Bounces" by this program. It shows bounce reason as "Unknown address!"

DATA command)

I tried removing all rules & by setting my own rules involving message body. But the program continues to take the above cases as BOUNCEs.. Any advice?

Yes they are soft bounces. Why do you you think they are not?

Ok, but how do I stop those from being shown as bounces while processing?

They are bounces so they are added to the list. They are added as soft bounces, that is, warnings. Just ignore them.

thanks for the reply.

I usually select all the true bounces (some mail providers even return a soft bounce for "Mail-box" not available.) & remove them from my list.

Currently, my soft bounce list has both Deferred emails (which I dont wanna lose) and Mailbox problem errors (which I want to remove).

Ideally, I just want the application to process the emails which have the certain texts I specify in the body.

I just want the application to read mails with the texts as shown in the image below. But it continues to read mails with "deferred". Am I doing anything wrong?

The software has a DSN handler that parses the bounce by default. Rules are used only when a bounce is not a DSN. In other words, rules are ignored when the bounce is a standard Delivery Status Notification (DSN) message.
