Hi All.

Have a problem with MLM. When I change the settings in im_prefs.php smtp authentication to match my account on the server I get a blank page when I test a subscribe or unsubscribe.

If I leave the smtp auth. setting to none both works fine, but I get a mail saying relaying not allowed when I test a subscribe or unsubscribe. I understand why I get this message, because my server needs authentication.

MLM runs on a mac os 10.4.11 server.

Any help would be great.

MLM authentication uses the PEAR mail package. I guess it is not installed on your server. You will find more information about PEAR here.

After a lot of reading and searching on Google, I have found out that pear is installed on my mac xserver 10.4.11. But it's by default disabled. Have tried to figure out how to enable it, but that way to technical for me.

To me it looks like I have to build a new PHP installation and install it.

Wish it was as simple as setting a checkmark, but it's not. If anyone could guide me on how to enable it I would be ever so thankfull.
