Hi, I have been trying for a while to place hyper links in an email and just can't seem to get it done. Anyone in here that could help? Chuck PS This is what I have been trying to use but I have no earthly idea what they want in the "tag' and "text" areas. <a href="http://www.w3schools.com/">Visit W3Schools</a>

Hi Chuck,
It depends on the format of your email. If it's HTML, then the code you posted is alright. However, if you're using styled text, you can write the anchor text, select it and then use the 'Message > Link to URL...' menu.
PS. You can't add links in plain text mode, just plain URLs.
Hope that helps.

wessley, Thank you for your reply and if I understood correctly you shouldn't send emails in both text/HTML or just HTML as many recipients may not be able to read them. Plus when I changed it to text/HTML is always says that I don't have and HTML in the message. Thanks for taking the time to answer! Chuck

Hi, when I set a hyperlink by the above method, it changes the hyperlink to add the tracking code but then, when I check the link I get the message from my web site host:
"The page you tried to access does not exist on this server."
Is this a problem at my end with my server? Could it be that I added a security certificate to the site that hosts my tracking software?

Hi,
I'm not really into making a whole email in HTML, I just want to use styled text but do not understand why the hyperlinks are directing to pages not found by my host.
Does anyone know how to fix this please? Without it working, I cannot use Max Bulk Mailer to direct my mailing list to my site or even my FB page.
Thanks,
Mike

I can log on create lists and add recipients with either. It does't seem to be that. I have been doing that for some time with these same settings. I have even been sending bulk mails with this system for some time without any problems like this.
Could it be the latest update of the software?
What else could I have changed to make it fail?
Thanks again.

Hi Stanbusk, Apologies, I just tried the www. version again and retested the email. It only works with the www., do you were absolutely correct first time. Thanks for your help. It is weird though, because my settings have always been like that. I wonder why it stopped working? Never mind, it's sorted now. Thanks for all your help Best wishes Mike
