Installed MLM and everything seems to be working. I can upload and access remote lists. However, I tested the unsubscribe feature and everything seems to work but the red (x) does not go over the email and I can still send emails to unsubscribed addresses.

When I acces a list remote or local, it I get the notification that some people have unsubscribed. I view them, then click ok, but the emails remain with a green check mark.

Any ideas?

Are you using a local or remote list?

I am using both local and remote lists. When somebody unsubscribes from a remote list they are taken off the list, but I can add them back to same list.

When I pull up the same list locally (in preferences the box is checked to check for unsubscribes on local list) nothing happens. The unsubscribes are not acknowledged in the local list.

After a bit more testing, it looks recipients with a Firstname get the (x) properly. Recipients with no name, just email address, do not get x'd out. They keep the green check mark.

Weird, the unsubscribe system only use the email address, nothing else. It works perfect for me here. I have been using this system myself for 3 years so far without a single issue. Are you using current MLM 3.0.7 ? with MaxBulk Mailer v8.3.8?
