I need help

The hyperlinks in the body of an email are not working
They are going to a 'forbidden' 403 error page
The links in the signature are fine

This is the first mailing I am sending after upgrading to 8.3.9

I read a bunch of postings here and tried to figure it out for myself and failed

My preferences url is http://www.mirandacastro.com/lm/lm.php
BUT when I try to log in (mlm) it fails

Problem solved!
This is what I love about anything to do with programming .... there should be a logical answer. With no exceptions (unlike English).

I doubled checked my signature - it has 4 hyperlinks ... 3 to websites plus 1 email. 2 of the web links worked and one did not. Ah ha ...
So maybe, just maybe the problem had something to do with the way the addresses were formatted.
And it was.
The ones that didn't work had http:// but no www.
Adding www. solved the problem that I am pretty sure wasn't there before but I don't care - it works now.

My response was a teensy bit premature.

There are two links that continue not to work, one to a folder in the cloud: http://cl.ly/xxx (not the real link) ... and one to my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/xxx (this isn't my page)

What error do you get with those links? 403?

Yes! I'm using MLM
I'm writing emails in html
I'm formatting the hyperlinks correctly (I think)

I don't believe I have ever logged in on line
I just always use Maxbulk Mailer, the program, to format and send emails and to manage recipients and recipient lists

If login in MLM thru a browser fails it is because MLM is not installed properly as a result you will have that link problem as well. Whatdo you get an error logging in? and what error is it?

i worked out how to get into mlm via my browser (how to recover my login details)
the stats are there for the mailing shots i have sent out
and they are accurate
there were no lists ... i have never uploaded a list
so - i uploaded a list - no problem

in my latest mailing shot all (5) links work great except for this one: http://www.facebook.com/MirandaCastroHomeopath
it gets this error message

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /lm/lm.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What is the full URL that cause the problem? I need the original full URL on the message.

btw - i have been checking these INSIDE maxbulk mailer at the Preview tab so i wasn't on the internet/seeing a web url (i added > at the beginning and < at the end to stop the link hyperlinking and being shortened)
