The amount column has vanished from the transaction list. It was located between the comment and reconciliation columns. How can I restore it to its former state?
Eric
Answer: It can be disconcerting to encounter a situation where the 'Amount' column disappears from the transaction panel. However, this is often due to a simple column resizing error. Please don't worry, your column is still present; it's just become invisible with a width of 0.
There are two solutions to fix this problem:
1.- Try to resize the 'Amount' column. Even if you can't see the column, you can go ahead and hover over the transaction list headers, place your mouse cursor above the separator between the 'Comment' and 'Reconciled' columns, and then drag the separator to the left or to the right.
2.- Try to reset your iCash document settings. To reset the settings of an iCash document, open your document from the iCash File Manager and press the Option key (at the same time). You will get a confirmation window. Just confirm that you want to reset the settings. You should annotate the previous settings first if you'd like to restore them later.
