 Remote List Management
If you were looking for a very simple and unattended mechanism to allow people to both subscribe to or unsubscribe from your mailing lists at any time through a link on your messages or through a web page on your site, you should give Maxprog List Manager a try. Maxprog List Manager (MLM for short) is the solution for maintaining lists online. Your clients and contacts can subscribe or unsubscribe to any of your lists at any time. MLM is a double opt-in list subscription manager PHP script you can install on your site to handle subscriptions. It supports a full set of commands you can use either directly with your web browser to maintain your lists or by placing them on your web pages or on your outgoing messages. Unlike other products and depending on your possibilities and knowledge, MLM is prepared to work with either a mySQL database or simple raw text files. MLM has no limitations, you can create as many lists as you wish with as many subscribers as you need. Best of all, MLM works with new MaxBulk Mailer v6 through the 'Remote Lists' function allowing you to use your remote lists directly as if they were local, without needing to go through the tedious import/export steps! You just need to edit the script settings, upload it to your site, open MaxBulk Mailer preferences and enter the script URL and the administrator password.  Global Blacklist
MaxBulk Mailer already lets you unsubscribe people from a list but what happens if a recipient is subscribed to more than one list and he explicitly asked not to receive anything else from you? You have the choice between processing each list separately and unsubscribe the recipient from each of them or use the new Global Blacklist feature. In fact, new Global Blacklist prevents you from sending messages to given addresses whichever the list you have selected. In other words, you just need to add the address once to the blacklist to get it automatically blacklisted everywhere else. The Blacklist is accessible from the List manager pull-down menu like a regular list. Just select it, add email addresses to it as usual and click on the 'Save' button. That's all! Blacklisted addresses appear in red with a different icon so you can easily tell them apart. You can also add one or more addresses to the Blacklist by selecting them and using the 'Add to Blacklist' menu from both the list contextual menu (right-clicking on the list) and from the 'Recipients' main menu. To remove an address from the Blacklist you just have to go to the Blacklist, select the address(es), click on the delete button '-' and then on the 'Save' button. As with unsubscribed addresses, blacklisted recipients are automatically discarded by MaxBulk Mailer when sending messages. If you add an address that is currently Blacklisted, it will automatically appear in red with its specific icon so you find out instantly about its status.

 Support for creating message templates
Not only you can open and use templates as with previous version, now you can create them as well. A template is a predesigned document with text and pictures you can customize in order to create new messages. Usually, after you create a message using a template you just need to add the new contents for that specific message taking advantage of elements common to all your messages. To create a template, just design it and use the new 'File > Save as Template...' menu. Your template is then automatically added to the 'File > Templates > My Templates' menu.

 New Test Mode
Test mode has gone a step further. So far you only had the possibility to send a single test message to yourself. It may be enough for simple messages but far from ideal when using tags or conditional statements. Now it is possible to send a message to all your recipients or a selection of recipients exactly like a real delivery but messages will not be sent to the recipient addresses but to an address of your choice. That means you can now simulate a real delivery with real data redirecting all the messages to yourself. MaxBulk Mailer was really lacking a real test mode like that.

 Message favorites
You can now add and re-use pieces of text or full messages using the built-in favorite library accessible from the favorite button on the message panel. It is that new button on the left, right above the message field featuring a clipboard icon. To add text to the library just compose your message, apply styles if you wish and then select the 'Add to Favorites' menu from the favorite button. To use a favorite just select it from the list clicking on the Favorite button. By default the favorite text gets appended to the existing text. To change that behavior and to replace existing text with the selected favorite text press the Command key on the Macintosh or the Alt key on Windows when selecting the favorite. To delete or rename a favorite select the 'Edit' menu.

 External images location tag
When sending a message with external online pictures you need to make sure you are using absolute URLs everywhere so the recipient software will be able to access the images from the internet. Usually the base URL will always point to the same domain and the path will be likely the same as well. To make that piece of information easier to maintain we have created a new tag called [Base href] you can use anywhere on your message. The URL for that new tag can be set from the preferences. For example let say your pictures are available on your site 'pictures' folder. Just set the Base href tag to 'http://www.mydomain.com/pictures/'. You can then use URLs such as '[Base href]/mypicture.jpg' in your message.

 Selective Settings backup and transfer
There may be times when you need to use MaxBulk Mailer on a different computer but transferring lists and preferences is everything but easy. We have added a really great feature, the possibility to export and import back selected settings. It is great for backups and of course for transferring settings and lists between say your desktop computer and your laptop. The feature is available by selecting the 'File > Settings > Export' and 'File > Settings > Import' menus. It allows you to backup or transfer MaxBulk Mailer preferences, your email accounts, your recipient lists, your templates and your favorites. You can both select what settings to export and what settings to import. Best of all, this feature is compatible between Mac OS and Windows versions of MaxBulk Mailer.

 Import of email addresses directly from a web page
MaxBulk Mailer is now able to import email addresses from a web page. You just need to drag and drop the URL of the page from your browser to the MaxBulk Mailer recipient list or select the 'File > Import Recipients > From a Web page' menu. The page is then downloaded, processed in the background and all the email addresses added to your list. You can drag and drop or select as many URLs as you wish to get them processed and results added to the same file. It is that simple! Note that MaxBulk Mailer as none of our products was designed for spamming so it is important you know what emails you are extracting and what you are about to send to their owners. We provide this killer feature to make your life easier and because most of you have asked for it but remember, it is good as long as it is used properly.

 Configurable Tag data types
You can now set tag data type between Text, Number, Date and Boolean, affecting sorting and conditional statement results. All tags are of type 'Text' by default. If you set a tag data type to 'Number' you will be able to sort your list and use conditional statements with true numeric '>', '<' , ">=" and '<=' operators. The same applies to the 'Date' and 'Boolean' types however you have to make sure you set dates following your operating system date format (MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY....). A 'Boolean' field can accept only two values, you have the choice between using yes/no, True/False or 1/0.

 New Global Preferences
The Preference panel has finally received a major update. We have added several important new parameters to give more flexibility when sending messages. We now have the following new features:

- It is now possible to set the resume period after a connection drop.
- Possibility to edit the HELO/EHLO string used when starting a SMTP/ESMTP transaction.
- The delivery ID can now be changed or reseted.
- Support for 7bit, 8bit and Base64 encoding for messages in addition to Quoted Printable.
- default list and account preference new 'Automatic' choice to use last list or account.
- It is now possible to select and play a sound when the delivery is complete.

 New Account Settings
The Account Settings panel has also received a few updates. We now have the following new features:

- Group setting now can be set to 2, 3 and 4.
- The Reply-To field now support tags (Pro only).
- New 'Errors-To' header field.
- New 'Precedence' header field.

 New Tags
Three new tags have been added to the already long list:

- [List Name] lets you insert the current list name in the message body or subject (Pro only).
- [Month Number] allows you to insert the month number in the message body or subject (Pro only).
- [Test Mode] is to be used for example inside a conditional statement. It returns 'Yes' or 'No' depending on Test Mode status (Pro only).
